RE: Guardian Price

I shot one last night and it was priced at $799. The bow shop owner told me that he had several on order and that he felt he was going to have trouble keeping them in his store this year. I couldn't believe how cool this bow shoots. I decided to try it but had no plans on getting one but after shooting it, I really want one. Might have to try the lay-away option.

$750 here as well. My shop told me they would throw in a free sts since im a repeat buyer of bows there. It pays off to do all your shopping at the same shop if theyre respectable people with knowledge of tuning. They give ya a break sometimes.

from all the hype it sounds like you dont need a sts on the guardian, not even a stabilizer. Buy an Ally and get the sts, thats whati would do

The guardian I shot had it already installed and Ive never shot one without an sts so i really cant comment on if it really makes a difference. The guy told me without it you could hear just a little string buzz but barely noticeable. Either way I would purchase the sts anyways simply because i wont have to worry much about arm slap on twisting shots with lots of clothing on. I also shot an ally and tribute both with sts and the guardian was noticably quieter. But taking nothing away from either. Both were SWEET shooters. None of them had any real vibration. The alley and trib both only had a little THUD sound. but no noticable vibration.

Two Pro Shops in the area had the same bow for $750 and $800, so just be careful. I have heard people paying $699, I paid $725 for mine.

I would have already had a guardian ordered but my 15 week old siberian husky came down with parvo and its taking a lot of time and money to get him through it.

I really like what I have read and heard about the Guardian. I am going to buy a new bow later this year, and the Guardian, along with the Vectrix are the two I am currently most interested in.

I paid $749 for mine.

I already owned an STS from my old Switchback. I put it on my new Guardian. It stopped the buzzing in the string so well that I was able to remove the string silencers and it is deadly quiet with the STS and NO string silencers.
