new sight and changes?

ok so i asked this on another site also but i wanted to get your thoughts as well.......

when i look for a new sight, i look for one for what I'M looking for in it. so then i see all these other threads of people buying new sights and changing them right away.. things like the fibers.

why would you buy a new sight and then have to turn around and send it away to another place to have it changed before you even ever set it up and try it? just seems to me that if i wantedsomething else and the sight i really liked didn't have it, i'd look at others because it wasn't what i wanted.
then i seen others that have up to 2 yards of fiber saying their brighter than anyones... when it doesn't make ANY difference anyway you look at it if the fibers are over 10" or so.

so what's up? just curious i guess.

Good ole American enginuity, that's what. I for one am glad folks aren't afraid to do that. That's where the next latest and greatest comes from.

I for one love to tinker, it's how I learn. I always look for ways to improve stuff.....

mobow....... i like to tinker also... but i sell and set up ALOT of sights...
Hoggs, Swords, VBG... ect...

i don't have a problem with it, it just sounds funny to spend that kind of cash and not eve try it out before you send it away ....

guess it's just me... ok i guess i can live with it..
