apa twister safari
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get an apa twister safari drop away. I tried archery experts but they want 10.00 for shipping. I do not have a gander mt. near me so I can't go there. If anyone has an idea let me know.

Any archery shop which has access to a Pape's catalog can order it for you (and just about every one does).

Greg-
How would you rate the APA against the MZE? I would like to see one of your reviews on the APA Safari. |
RE: apa twister safari
Gut, I really like the APA as well, and especially its full-containment system (though if you push the arrow into the rubber arrow holder that Muzzy provides, your arrow can't even move). It's been a great rest for me, and though not as highly publicized or with as big a fan base, everyone I've seen who's actually used it has had nothing but good to say about it.
I do feel it may be a touch noiser than the MZE simply because it operates on a spring-action principle. When you come to full draw, the cord which is either served in to your down cable or tied to the cable slide (as Bowtech gives you the option to do) actually coilsthe spring, loading the rest and preparing it for a very fast downward motion as it falls out of the way of the fletching. The noise factor comes into play in that when the arms reach their rest position, they can sort of "snap" back there, because of the speed at which they arrive. Now don't get me wrong; this noise is almost imperceptible, even by the shooter -- and is NOTHING like the noise associated with rests like the Trophy Taker and others that require weather stripping or some sort of NAVCOM material to hush the launcher slamming against the rest shelf. |
RE: apa twister safari
I have an APA Twister SL I will ship to you for $50. Very little use on it.
It is just like the Safari but has a side load option to it. it loads much like the WB's do. |

RE: apa twister safari
I have been shooting one for over a year now and love it. Best total containment drop away I have found. I bought mine from ArcheryExperts.

RE: apa twister safari
I think that is where I am going to have to get mine. I just couldn't believe shipping was $10.00 you can almost ship an entire bow for that.
