Broadhead blade manufacturer for prototypes
I am looking for a broadhead blade manufacturer that can prototype some blades for me. I have the broadhead bodies made (titanium no less) and I am in desperate need of a good company that can assist me. The broadhead makers have been no help (they hatecompetition) I have looked all over the internet using severalsearches with google, MSN, Yahoo....etc. but none of the companies are interested in broadhead blades. As soon as I obtain blades, I will be sending free broadheads out to serious hunters (that still have tags to fill) for feild reports with the permission of the moderators of this fine site. Let me know gang. Flinch

I know there are more US based ones; but maybe these will give you some leads. When you search on the net, you need to lean more toward searching for the manufactures of surgical blades and the like.
I know that broadhead manufactures starting out find the blades to be one of the hardest/expensive parts of the venture because it is difficult to find a company that can deliver a blade that is consistent and reliable with respect to metal quality, specs/measurements and ultimately...sharpness. Good luck!!

Snood, thanks for the heads up. I have already tried both companies you listed. Crescent flat out turned me down. I hope they didn't sell my plans to NAP Archery
Specialty blades didn't want to do anything with broadhead blades. I have tried several others with the same results. I guess all these companies already have too much business Thanks all. I will keep looking.

Yeah, you can see why some go outside the country to get it done I suppose, and all the difficulty to bring a product to the consumer. I've had broadhead ideas and just didn't have the cash and time to get it all started...it is amazing to me when a guy starts out on his own and is able to get it all going like Oldhootowl!
Here is another one maybe: http://www.dycoinc.com/aboutdyco.htm
