Climbing Treestand

Hello, I am looking to upgrade to a new climber finally and as always,I wish to consult the folks in the forum for guidance with this purchase. What do folks use and why do you like it etc? As always, any input is greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas!

I have the API Bowhunters Grand Slam and love it. Its weighs 20lbs, is comfrotable, climbs very fast, and has an open front. Everything you need for bowhunting.

Summits huh? I was looking at a Loggy Transformer as well, looks nice and doesnt weigh a ton. The Lone Wolf looks nice but it seems to be kinda expensive. That Grand slam looks like a viable option at 20 lbs

the new loggys should be real good too. I really like the summit... i'm sure almost all new treestands are pretty much all good... another thing to think about is.. your pretty much gonna get what you pay for.

I believe it's really a personal preference choice most are good. I tend to use the Lone Wolf.

If youre spending 1000.00 on a bow,Dont shortchange yourself on climbing equipment.I dont have a lone wolf yet,But ive seen one in action and cant wait till sept 07!!!

Yeah, I'm sure the "you get what you pay for" is a solid part of the equation but I have to say the Lone Wolf looks very nice, I just havent seen one up close as of yet. My Summit is a decent stand however it is rather "robust" at 27 lbs.

I love the Lone Wolf, but as you said they are not cheap. Summit, Loggy Bayou and a couple of others make quality stands.
