RE: Mathews, Bear, Hoyt
I apologize for taking it the wrong way. You are right don't buy into the hype of any brand, get what fits you the best and what you can afford.

RE: Mathews, Bear, Hoyt
They are all good bow manufacturers. The key is to find the one that fits you the best.

RE: Mathews, Bear, Hoyt
Wow peoples opinions really vary. I never thought id hear someone say the vectrix had a lot of vibration. The one I shot must have just been a good pick outa the litter or somethin. Vibration was the last thing I thought when i shot that bow.

RE: Mathews, Bear, Hoyt
I would have to agree with you CornFed. I tried to like the Bear bows, but just can't like "the little things" the other companies do better. The Bear bows seem really behind the times, but that is just me. I was in the market for a new bow last year. I shot the Bow Techs, AR, Hoyts, Brownings and PSE's at length. I bought the PSE Vengence and simply love it. Two elk and a couple of big bucks didn't complain much either ;) Flinch

RE: Mathews, Bear, Hoyt
ORIGINAL: IL-Cornfed LOL! It's almost funny to see anyone mention a Fred Bear in the same sentence as Mathews and Hoyt! WOW, it's amazing how some folks' opinions can vary so much. From fit and finish to pure performance I have never seen a Bear that would compete with the best offerings from the Big 2. To each their own, I guess? |
