Paintball meets Archery

Have you guys seen this contraption yet. Its on of those things that would be cool to own, but I'm sure that thing is expensive and I could never justify it to only use it like twice.

I knew it was only a matter of time when some one thought about putting a paintball gun on a bow.
What will they think of next ?

those are both pretty neat!! looks like when you draw you draw back a rod that draws the air into the cylinder...kinda like a piston. could be wrong thats what it looks like though..wonder how it mounts and if it effects your bow in the long run...blown up limbs, cracks, etc...neat though....wonder what they sell for

I guess the next logical step would be a paintball gun with a barrel caliber machined downto the precise diameter of a Gold Tip 55/75 arrow. (instead of 68 caliber). Pop out the nock and slide a shaft down the tube. Point and fire.

Just unscrew the .68 cal barrel on the Tippmann and pop in the arrow barrel...

Hamster on Wheel. Lights flickering...

I just saw those the other day in the new issue of Bowhunting world. We were talking about them at work. One of our concerns was also what it would do to your bow over time. I am sure that if the bow company of your choice wouldn't back a warranty if they knew you had it on the bow. when I did a dealer search I saw that one of our local pro shops was listed, and Dick's Sp. Goods was also. My wife and I will be Christmas shopping this weekend and will be at Dick's, so I am going to check them out. I am anxious to see the cost on one. Probabaly not real cheap. It would be fun to set up one of my older bows with one.

I really dont think that the Airow gun would be allowed at any actual paintball fields. Plus, it would be nearly impossible to shoot that with your mask on. I think i'm gonna stick with my paintball gun that shoots 20 ball per second for paintballing and my bow for hunting:D
