anyone caught wind of the 07 mathews?
 

the local shop gets it on friday if the ups treets us sweet. He was on the phone with the mathews rep while i was in today and he doesn't even know what it is yet. said their website is supposed to be updated on friday as well. i might have to go see what it is...

Bows are like snowmobiles here in MN, everyone has to buy the latest every year. I am jealous as I can not afford to do so. [:o]

I just looked at it on their site. Looks like same old, same old for the about the 4th year in a row from those guys. Just a lighter version of the last several years worth of Switchbacks.

i am sad to say i was a little dissapointed with the debut bow, i'm sure its sweet and i won't sling any mud till i shoot it, but i was hoping for something extreme....i did shoot a prestiege the other day and was impressed with it, other than the g they retail for. that little thing had a real smooth draw cycle for a speed bow. i'm gonna keep my switch back for now and use the saved money to buy a recurve. ha.

I currently shoot a 2006 Switchback, andI believe that the regular Switchbackis faster than the XT model (315fps IBO), and the newest 07 is rated at 320 fps IBO. So basically, my bow and the new model must be close speed wise. Sticking with mypresent bowfor a few years before trading up. Like stated above, you can go broke trying to stick with whats new!!

I went and shot the drenalin yesterday. I was impressed with the way it shot and its size. But I'm currently shooting a bow thats probably close to 15 years old so most any new bow would've impressed me. Anyway I ordered one, I hope Im not dissapointed because it'll need to last fifteen years as well.

i'm stickin with my switchback. the drenalin didn't do anyting that my switchback dosen't. The draw cycle didn't seem as smooth either. I also thought i saw some cam lean right at the end of the cycle.

Shot the new one last night. Liked the Switchback better so now I am caught between that ans the HoytTrykon Leaning towards Switchaback sine the proshop is mile from mu house and has range.
