Excursion
I'm looking and saving up for a new bow. I dont' know what to get. I'm trying to decide between the reflex excursion and the browning rage one. The excursion is probably without a doubt a better bow, but it also costs more. Has anyone had experience with either of these bows.

RE: Excursion
i shoot a reflex highlander...i love it. end of story lol. get to a shop and test shoot the bows in your price range...buy the one that feels best. i honestly dont think i would be any happier with my bow even if it was a 700$ bow. maybe because its my first and i dont know any better. but i love the highlander and for the money its been rated the best choice by ALOT of reviewers...take a good hard look at it! you might like it!

RE: Excursion
I recently read an evaluation on the reflex excursion, and highlander. They both came in rated as very good bows, and great value for the money. They were rated as a buy...... Fast, Quiet, low hand shock.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but I have not shot either bow, I can only tell you what the magazine evaluations said. And their "big picture" of the bow was its value per dollar spent.
It is likethe Fred Bear Element. They rated it high too. 302 fps, 32"ATA, solo cam, 75% letoff, 7 3/4 brace height, 4.1 lbs., 300.00.
The Reflex Excursion is 295 fps, 34 1/2 ATA, slam and 1/2cam, 75% letoff, 8 3/8 Brace height, 3lb. 15 oz., 300.00.
But the Fred Bear bow is a much more parallel limb desinged bow, and although you did not ask about it, The Element , by Bear, was rated the same way. Much valueper dollar spent.
