Default Bodoodle worries

This is the first year I used a Bodoodle rest. I am having difficulty
silencing the rest when I pull back my arrow. I have used shrink tubes and otter skin and they seem to throw my arrow off its mark and tear up after a couple shots. I like how it holds the arrow on but it is what happens when my target walks in sight that I'm concerned with. Anyone experience problems like this, suggestions?

If it crawls it falls, if it flies it dies.

I've not had any trouble with my bodoodle rest. I use a product called super slick on the forks. It is whisper quiet and I don't have any flight troubles. It is not real durable but they are cheap so I don't mind. There are two types of the super slick rest covers, a white one, which i belive is teflon and very durable and also very loud. There is a green one, which i use, feels like thin rubber. I've had good luck with them. If you are interested i can get you the company address from the package if you can't find them.

I use Dr Scholls Moleskin Plus on the forks.
For just over a buck you get enough to last 3 or 4 years.

I love my bodoodle. The nail polish thing works good, but not for real long and it has scent. The teflon u got with the rest works good and thats what i use. Mole skin is also good but it threw my arrow off a little. You may even want to try takin some bow string wax and putting it on the fins, it kinda works. I like the teflon and the nail polish personally.

I use that teflon paint on matrial. It works good but doesn't last long. I practice without it and then paint some on before I hunt. It will not throw off your arrow. Wish there was the perfect solution but haven't found it yet.

I cast another vote for moleskin!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
