Which broadhead for black bear?
I have Muzzy 125 gr. now and am looking at NAP Razorbaks for this hunt.

Any broadhead suitable for whitetail are suitable for black bear. Remember, black bears hides are thinner than that of a whitetail although their hair is thicker. Shot placement is the key for both. Study the anatomy of a black bear and make sure of your shots. I took my black bear with a 100 grain Muzzy 3blade, it passthrough'd the length of the bear from front to back and split the femur in half on the way out. It was the way he was standing and I took out the top of the heart, lung, liver and exited the rear leg.

Any whitetail gear is suitable for black bear. As Rob said, the most important thing is learning the new anatomy.

I agree with the others, the anatomy of a bear a is a little differnt so make sure you study up on that, but your deer heads will work fine, although the Razorbacks are defintely a nasty head!

shoot low on bears, preferably with the magnus stinger!

Slick Tricks, i shoot muzzy 100 grains now, but that was because me and my dad share broadheads and they were only 25 bucks for 6 broadheads. im getting the slick tricks next and i have never heard anything bad about them.
