yardages for sight

when sighting in my bow what yardages should i use. ive heard 15 25 35 and 10 20 30. im use a 3 pin sight and im not planning on taking a shot past 35. Just need some suggestion or what has work for you in the past.

it depends what type of bow you are shooting if it is a decently fast bow i would go with a 20,30,40 or a 25,35,50 for fast bows. the reason is that when you shoot your shot will be ok out to the first pin the last pin pushes you to shoot that longer shot during practice and make that closer shot seem easier i like both set ups

I've always done 20, 30 and 40. I couldn't tell you why and I've never really thought about it. Would it make that much difference if it were 5 yards more per pin? Maybe...Maybe not.

My old bow i had the pins set at 20,30,40. my new bow i have them set at 25,40,50. it all depends on how fats your bow is shooting. i agree on the longer you practice shooting, when you have those close one's they are a snap

Like everyone else has said. Depends on how your bow shoots. For me, I set my first pin and it works from 0-20 yards.

I have 3 pins, top 0-20, middle 30 and bottom 40.

If you do not plan on shooting any further than 35 yards, you can set them 15,25,35 or if you shoot a quick bow you might be able to get away with just 2 pins 20 and 35.

You will just have to play with it and descide what works best for you and your set up.

Been this way for twenty or so years, I am so used to this that anything else would just screw me up. Not that I'm not already screwed up!!!

My current bow is 30, 40, 50, 60. My old bows were usually 20, 30, 40 which is what my son has his set at.
