I got the same heads Monday, but haven't shot them yet. I did the shave test also on my arm and they actually were "splitting" the hairs without cutting through them. They ARE the sharpest objects I have ever seen. The razors I shave my beard with are nowhere near as sharp. I'm scared to put them together!

Good to hear they are finally sharp. Maybe I'll get some again this year. I know they fly really well.

Laramy!

I'm using the 2005 Slick Trick's and I've heard all about the dullness issue's with them in the past ,but last week I took a bear with them ,it went in brreaking a rib and exited breaking another rib and then continued to penetrate through the shoulder bone .A complete pass through buddy and they say the past head's are dull ? I will post a few pic's this week of the entrance and exit wound's when I get them back this week.
Slick Trick's are an awsome head regardless whether they're last season's or this season's in my book's.

RE: 06 Slick Tricks

wheres a good place to pick the new ones up without having to worry if I'll be getting some old ones there trying to get rid of?

RE: 06 Slick Tricks

You can go direct to the Slick Trick site, download an order form, and just send it to them. Gary seems like a great guy and you know you will be getting this year's blades and not someone's left-overs. Best regards,

Red

if right handed put them on with Your left and the opposite, it saves Your release fingers . do they come with bandaids

Been waiting about two and a half weeks now... guess another head's gonna get the honor of taking first blood this year! I am looking forward to receiving mine though.

Still waiting, 09/15/06--and I leave next Friday for my annual moose hunt. Looks like the Magnus will lead the way.
Gary must have some real bad shipping problems--as it's not like him at all.

RE: 06 Slick Tricks

Do they really fly as well as field points? That seems to be most everyone's take on these broadheads. Has anyone run into any problems with them that they attribute to the blades and not to a tuning issue with their bow?
