Hoyt LazerTec

I am looking at purchasing a Hoyt LazerTec. I have looked at the Reflex Highlander and the Bear Instinct, but for a few bucks more I can move into the Hoyt line (I know that the Highlander is made by Hoyt). Is this the right move? I have been told that the LazerTec is a much smoother draw and has less rattle than the Highlander and is more reliable than the Instinct. Any advice would help - thanks!

I tell you this.....there is only one way to find out. Shoot them both and you decide. You wouldn't be wrong with either of those bows, they are great. In fact, the Highlander was last years Hoyt UltraMag, and the LazerTec is THIS years UltraMag....so to say.....Both excellent choices.

I am in no way an expert, however the ultra mag was my first bow and i have a vipertech now and my cousin shot a ultra tech, out of the three the ultra mag was the quietest and the lightest with the magnesium riser.
I sold it to my brother and we intalled a set of gibblet strings on it this year and i tell you it is a great bow, it is ultra quiet and he drills with it, so if the lazer tech or the highlander are this years and last years bows I dont think you will go wrong.
my two pennies,
good luck and good shooting
