Air Rest
 

Has anyone tried this new rest yet. It suspends your arrow at full draw in mid air, using magnets inside the rest. It sounds like an ingenius idea just wondering if anyone has triedit. the price is around $100.

Nope. It has been talked about here before and a lot of guys have some reservations about them like the total cost when it's all said and done. I think one person tried one and liked it, not sure though.

yeh i seen thos air rests at cabelas.com thay look pritty good but i think are a bit on the expendsive side$$
when i read that its only a magnetic force holding the arrow i didnt think mutch of it but when read thatif you push the arrow against the magnetic force the arrow will bend befor it comes instuck from its position. thay must be verry strong magnets..
it soundsgreat but like i said i think its a bit to expendsive maybe il get one when thay go down in price a bit:eek::)

From what I understand, you must use special inserts in your arrows that act with the magnetic field to elevate the arrow. inserts are suppose to be a little on the heavy side and are an additional cost.

thanks for the link to the other post. i did a search but for some reason nothing came back.

I was also very skeptical of this rest and although it sounds great i think ill stay away from it.

Well folks I looked at one the other day and it weighed like a pound,I put it right back in the showcase and like someone else said ,you have to also apllie the intserts to your arrows. More added wieght. For me it's way to much weight,but heck that's just my opinion,go and have a look see.
