im new to bow hunting and trying to find a set of sights for my bow. what do you guys think of thes sights..http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templa...amp;hasJS=true if you dont think thay are eny good for deer hunting can you recomend a sight that is? thank heeps:) |
RE: lazer sights eny good?
Before considering a lazer for hunting make sure it's legal to use.
Where I am it isn't. (also would have to wonder about that very strong light pointing out your location. even with the lazer no where near your face, you can still see scatter if it's close and since deer have a wider range of light frequency that they can see, would it stand out even more to them?) |

RE: lazer sights eny good?
Even if it is legal where you live, it's a bad idea. The lazer removes any need for distance and elevation calculation, so you'll never really learn how to shoot.
It alsohas limited application and is worthless in fog or rain. That's why firearmswith themhave an alternative sight. |
