RE: Predator Deception Review (Pics)
Huntinged,
Im not trying to change your mind but consider what Rob/Pa Bowyer had mentioned earlier. im not bashing your decision but there is really no need for green in a pattern, most of these open patterns with the light shades and tones kinda absorb those greens that are all around you. And also its really not how we see it is how our quarry sees it. Just my 2 and 9/10 of a cent. Thanks |

yea i plan on buying some predator soon, im just trying to decide what to get.. i think im leaning towards deception. I might try the new evolution pattern as well...To many choices!!

Ed just liike you probably at first i was a little leary of these open patterns but after I saw the proof and the photos i knew i could possibly better my hunting by not blobbing up in the right light scenario

RE: Predator Deception Review (Pics)
btw I think that both fall brown and fall grey would both work exceptionally well

As far as the difference between Fall Brown and Fall Gray, look at it in Black and White and you can't tell the difference. Both awesome.
As far as concerns of "Too much white", I felt the same way when I first started wearing Predator Fall Gray. I actually remember the first time walking to my stand and feeling "stupid" wearing a "snow camo". Well, from that first night on, I was hooked. Deer did not see me, and that is all I've cared about from that day on. The thing that blows me away about the color "white" or any light color in a camo (tan in ASAT). It truly breaks up a pattern better than anything else. You hang a Fall Gray suit in a tree, full-foiliage, and start walking away. Watch how the whites and blacks start blending in with the lights and darks that appear anywhere in nature. I'm actually switching brands of camo this year. Check out the attached picture of Intrusion Treeline! This has even more white in-it, and I know it will be a SWEET camo regardless of what time of year! I'd prefer to have a completely white suit as-opposed to a dark "blob" style camo! |

Camo patterns are always subject to opinion like anything else. Some see it one way and some another; not much different than the definition of beauty. :D
I am a camo junkie so I have a "quiver" full of the stuff ranging from main stream types to the questionable. I love predator and ASAT. For what its worth, in low light all of predators colors look the same. While it is true, green is not all that necessary in camo, I will say that when the leaves are turning but the forest is not brown yet, in MY eyes, nothing beats spring green Predator. You see many times I am not only hiding from mature bucks, but also humans,I don't want other hunters to see me and find "my" spot :D. Below are some photos that show how Asat, Predator Fall Brown, and Predator Spring green blend in with the surroundings. I don't know where my photos of Fall gray are so there are none but it is just as effective.... ASAT..... ![]() Spring Green ![]() Fall Brown ![]() |

Great pics antler eater!! i really want that camo now. I have a jacket w/ fall brown and like it alot... only thing is its a cold weather jacket.
Question. I usually wear a 34inch waist. Think i should go w/ medium or large for coveralls... They have some coveralls in the bargin cave. Just wondering what size you wear and how they fit... |
