The QAD Ultra-Rest Hunter..How do you like it?
I've been looking at getting an arrow rest that has total containment. The QAD Ultra-Rest looks like a good one for the money. For those of you that have one, what do you think of it. Is it good for fast bows like an 06 Allegiance. I heard the spring would not go back fast enough with fast shooting bows. Thanks.

Recently purchased an 06 Allegiance combo package from Hunters Friend with the QAD rest and it is working flawlessly. The guys at hunters friend chrongraphed the bow setup at 317 fps and the rest seems to be working fine. I am getting great groups with field tips and slick tricks out to 50 yds, no fletching contact that I am able to notice. I am using 28 inch GoldTip Pro Hunters (5575) and total arrow weight is 381 grains. Overall I love the rest and really like the total containment feature and would recommend it.

I have the ultra rest pro and I think its a piece of crap. I have had it for less then a year and its making a grinding noise coming back to 90 degrees. thats my thoughts. glad to hear that they work for some.

bowhunter79deer, they have a lifetime guarentee so Id send it back if I were you. Id do it now well before season. Im sure theyd take care of you.

I've owned 3 of them and never had any issues with any of them. They are the easiest dropaway rest to tune imho. Buy one and you won't be sorry you did.

Try the vaportrail limb driver. Great rest. Tried the qad and could not eliminate contact...that is after 3 phone coversations with charles beasely and sending the rest back for a heavier spring.
