Cobra Sidewinder 2006 Model?
 

I saw that Cobra had their new 2006 Sidewinder in stores now. It has a orange ring on it to line up your peep. Have they changed anything else? Many of the stores around here have this sight as their number 1 selling sight. I have beenreading many reviews on other sitesthat people are very unhappy with the way the Sidewinder performs. I was just curious if anything has been changed to the sight and if it was performing any better.

Thats the only change that I can see. I have one from last year and its a great sight. very bright and well made.....

ive used one for the last couple of years and its been a great sight.very bright. the only thing i dont like is how easy to break the fiber off the sight pins.yyou also cant fix it if you do break them.i saw the viper sights at the harrisburg show and was really impressed.hey were bright andhe was tying the fiber strines into knots to show how strong they were!! also you can buy extra fiber strines if you break them.seems easy to replace

I have one of last year's models and I have absolutely no problem with it at this point. I can see where some folks might find the pins a bit exposed but they have not presented a problem for me yet. Great sight. I plan on continuing to use it this season as well.
