I believe it works. My wife got me the Dream Season Suit last year and I had my best year ever. I get tired of hearing the arguement "PLAY THE WIND." That can only take you so far. Here's something to think about for you guys that "PLAY THE WIND." You've all sat around a campfire before and when you do, you usually set up on the side where there is no smoke. Well, all of a sudden, you are fanning the smoke out of your face even though you thought you were upwind from the smoke. You move and minutes later, the smoke is back. You can't hardly tell there is a breeze, but there is. Just think how many times that happens while in your tree stand and you never noticed that small shift in wind direction. Well, if you would have had Scent Blocker or some other type of scent eliminating clothing, your chances of seeing that big buck definately increases. And for those of you who just "PLAY THE WIND", good luck. I understand you can never eliminate your odor, but Scent Blocker is definately going to increase your chances when the wind is variable.

scentlok or scentblocker is juat another great advancement for the sport and it has been proven time and again by prostaffers and every day hunters that it does work. just as camo advanced and every other product that comes out to do the same thing. and that is to tip the odds for success in the hunters favor. maybe it is over priced but noone said the sport of hunting is cheap. like anything else you get what you put into it.

Howabout using the suits for spotand stalk? ThoughI don't have and SC clothes myself, I would tend agree that they would help in a stand. But what about in western bow seasons where you are probably going to be moving quite a bit, and its almost a given that it will be hot (maybe in the 100s)? Can sweating in the suits kill their effectiveness in a short amount of time?

The more you sweat, the more you will smell. The scent lock clothes do help to hold and negatein the smell quite a bit.
I see alot of hunters using the scent lock clothes and neglecting to cover their face and worse, their heads.

I use a scent lok hood,scent lokgloves (just because they fitwell) anduse the scent free soap, shampoo and deodorant. I wash all my hunting clothes, including socks and underwear in scent free laundry soap.
Lastly I dry my clothes with dryer sheets that have a natural earth scent. I also store my clothes in scent lok bags.

Ihad two deer come directly into my ladder stand with the wind NOT inmy favor and both of them never knew I was there.

The scent lok clothes probably work very well, I just don't see the point in spending that much dough when I can get the same results for a whole lot less. I use the hood because I sweat like a slave, no matter the weather!

All these positive remarks means I'll be having a much harder time finding the stuff way below retail. ssshhhhh.

Last season was my first using scentblocker. I decided I would go the whole nine yards and wash with the soap, carry clothes in no-scent container, and carry my clothes into my stand.. etc.

I can't say I saw more deer, but I did get closer to more and even got a shot, with a bow, at 3 coyotes.. including two that came in downwind of me. I even had several more downwind of me too.

THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED!

I would go with scent-loc , they invented it and scent blocker pays them a fee to use thier patent - you gotta figure that in the price, but i will say it works for me!!

that stuff is just a bunch of BS sold at a high price. Just hunt the wind and you should be OK
