Best Vanes?

I have been using just Easton or whatever I could get my hands on for years. Are the other more expensive 4" plastic vanes worth it.

I think that the flex fletch vanes are worth it. I used dura vanes then switched to flex fletch then to quick spins. Hands down the flex fletchare my favorite. They are extremely durable, will take a hit from a field point and not tear, will go through a target, grass, trees etc. and be fine. They are very durable. They are not a very pliable vane and they get stiff when cold but it never affected performance as far as I could tell.About the only time you will need to replace them is with a broadhead hit or they falloff the arrow. I put them on with Saunders arrow mate and I never hadone peel off. Great combination.

What Mike said. The best still comes off of turkeys. And that being said, if one must shoot plastic then I favor the Duravane Low Profile or VaneTec.

I have just started using the quickspins and they are great. They really make your groups tighter, but they are a little larger than a normal vane
