Another vote for Excalibur , they can shoot as fast as compound models and have less stuff to go wrong .

Excalibur is the top of line crossbow available today. The most accurate and powerful too. My dad has been using an Excalibur for over ten years and has never had a problem--just success.

Excaliber #1, Horton #2.

Excaliber is canadain made, that may reflect the cost for americans, not sure though.

www.archerytalk.com has a Crossbow section. Many questions cand answers can be had there.

One reason Ten Point costs more than Xcaliber is because they have wheels and cables. Almost everything but the stock is machined aluminum. Raw blocks of aluminum and the machining cost money. Wheels, cables and axles don't come for free.

If Xcaliber has one downside, from what I've heard from users, is the length of the limbs compared to compound types.
