ok I have been approved for a crossbow permit in Illinois because of a back injury, and was wondering if you were approved for a cross bow and had the funds not being a deciding factor which one would you get??

One reason Ten Point costs more than Xcaliber is because they have wheels and cables. Almost everything but the stock is machined aluminum. Raw blocks of aluminum and the machining cost money. Wheels, cables and axles don't come for free.
If Xcaliber has one downside, from what I've heard from users, is the length of the limbs compared to compound types.
