tree saddle

so, how good are they? Comfortable? Sturdy? all the works. Where I hunt, there are others out there that, maybe wouldn't steal your stand but would definatly hunt out of it. Regardless of what they think, most of the time they don't think. What I have been doing is using a pair of climbing spikes like the guys that climb telephone poles use. This keeps anyone out of my stand. The problem that I run into is if I want to switch trees, it takes for ever to move the stand. I thought a tree saddle might be a bit easier.

basically what i am asking is things like, how safe does it feel?

how comfortable is it?

How long is the strap from the tree to you? things like that.

Those look so uncomfortable to me. I have spent 3 or 4 hours in a tree stand and I know what its like to be uncomfortable.Waiting for a deer to come by within bow range is a waiting game, a person has to have a lot of patience. Its hard to be patience, when your not comfortable.

RE: tree saddle

i may end up getting one. I can't find a darn tree stand to suit me. either they are too big, too small, too heavy, too bulky, don't feel safe, unstable etc. I just want something thats not too small, safe, comfortable and easy to pack. Thats all IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR ALL YOU TREE STAND MAKING COMPANIES LOL.
