Best bow string?
 

My dad told me that he heard something about "Zebra String" being really good. Has anybody heard of this stuff? Or used it at all?

Just wondering because I bought my bow used andI want to get new string put on it.

Zebra strings are a typical big HYPE by Mathews. They are next to garbage when it comes to creep. They just never seem to quit. If you want good strings or cables then you do a search for aftermarket strings and see what companies like Vapor Trail, Winner's Choice, Prostrings, Stone Mountain and others produce. Usually the same material as Zebra but way, way better workmanship. And they don't cost very much more either.

Ditto.

Zebras are crap. Unless they have changed recently they are still made with fast flight and they creep and strech to no end.

I use Winners Choice and have been completely happy with them.

Other excelent strings include Vapor Trail, Bowman Custom strings, and the Dakota strings and cables from Stone Mountain.

I ordered 2 sets of Vapor Trail VTX strings and cables the other day and had them in two days. This is the second time I've ordered from them. Just great strings IMO with great service. No-one answered the phone so I left a message. In an hour, the owner called me back and took my order.

Zebra strings a JUNK!!! I don't even think you'll find anyone who will argue that!

The industry standard for the best custom strings in the business are Winners Choice Strings. You get what you pay for!

I agree, Winner's Choce is the string of choicefor replacement strings.
Next year, I'll be replacing the string on my new Switchback with a winner choice set-up.
