RE: Tree Saddle

I havea treesuit and a treesaddle. My opinion is the treesuit is noticeably more comfortable than the treesaddle but the treesaddle is noticeably more quiet than the treesuit.

The biggest advantage both have over conventional treestands is versatility. You don't have to havea real straight tree to get into. If you hunt in the mountains the weight issue is also a plus.

The biggest disadvantage I feel is comfort. If you want to pull an "all dayer" I wouldn't want to do it in either "harness".

Rainman7 if screw in steps are legal where you are hunting try the Ezy T-step made by Canford. Compared to other screw-ins they are fairly light, and only a small portion of the tip is exposed so if you put a small amountof duct tape around them (the tip) they won't destroy your back pack. If installed properly they are rock solid on any tree I have tried (I haven't used them on a pine tree yet).

Good luck...
