RE: What is the lightest weight hunting arrow ?
Sorry I forgot something, you can't go under 360gr for an arrow with your set up(5 gr per pound of draw minimum). The maxima with a 100gr tip will put you close to 378gr.The 300's will put you right at 373.Your axis weighs right at 415gr.w/ a 100gr tip.
Arrow speed will increase 1 fps per 3-6gr loss depending on your bow.So you will only gain 7-14fps.So is it worth $100 for 7-14fps?It's up to you.Hope I helped. |

RE: What is the lightest weight hunting arrow ?
If I were you I would seriously reconsider what you are thinking. You don't want to go with the lightest weight arrow you can find. You want a stout arrow that will blast your broadhead through tough muscle, and in bad circumstances, bone.
