How warm are the 600-100gram thinsulate rubber boots compared to traditional leather boots. I will be hunting in the Kansas winter weather so temps could range from 30 to below zero. thanks for all replys.....Mitch

It would depend on your area that you are walking on. I would go for the rubber boots.

mitchmedic if you are a size 8 1/2 i have a pair of boot's for you.military mickey mouse boot's rubber with felt liner gov't issue.you put these own with one pair of socks and your feet will never get cold.i have a pair that water got into going across a deep steam was going back to change my socks never did and posted the next 4 hours in cold snowy weather.$19.00 buck's plus shipping

I wear my rubber LaCacross 800 gram insulate boots until the temp reaches about 30 degrees, after that I wear a pair of Wolverine Pak Boots with scent absorbant booties.
