Just one to check out. A Pearson Spoiler for around $350 new. Nice bow for the price. Check them out at www.selectarchery.com Jim will set you up. There are many others out there too and as others have stated look on archerytalk and on ebay, lots of good deals out there.

I would recommend that you buy a higher end used bow. You will get alot more for your money and you won't be trying to upgrade as soon. Bows depreciate rapidly, thier loss your gain.

I agree Dave. I almost gave up on bow shops. We have one near us.Iam afraid to name it. First time ...he glued my nocks upside down. Last year I thought my cables needed replacing ..he said yesI do.60.00. Instead of paying I drove to another bow shop 20 miles a way in Brandon Florida.

WOW! I hope you find one like this. His 50 some huge trophies are all over the place. He said my cables were fine. He tuned me up , new string loop, new rest let me shoot a fewre tuned.Said my old bow was fine and it was all I needed for 20.00. Yes my friend. I hope you find one like that. I will do all my business with this fellow. Very quiet man, non pushy and very smart.
Chuck
PS About the bow. The first thing is to get that bow shop guy to measure your draw length. From there I have seen nice ones at pawn shops , bow stores , Cabelas, Ebay. The best bet is to try one out for feel before buying one. I hope you find a good bow shop. That would be your one stop choice.

Check out the Buckmasters G2. You can buy it for $299 at Gander Mountain and it is smooth, quiet, 309 FPS, 32 axle to axle and very accurate. Check out some reviews online they are all glowing.
