Wac 'Em 100gr
Picked up a pack of 100gr Wac'em heads today. I was having problems getting my Muzzys to group so I went to get some mechanicals. I picked up the Wac'em instead and I am impressed. The blades themselves were very sharp, the point of the ferrule was not as sharp but can be sharpened on a flat stone. Over all I wouldsay the quality was above average. They fly great grouping just as well as my field points. They come in about 1 inch lower at 40 yards but they group just as tight if not better. I am shooting outside and there was a stiff breeze coming straight from behind me.Will try some longer shots tommorrow hopefully with no wind, then I will give anupdate

I just tried mine the other day and they group and fly very well indeed.
The point of impact was a wee lower for me as well, being 5 grns heavier than my target tips.
Looking forward to next month-----Sept 15 oh yea.

I am setting up my new bow and I'm thinking about shooting the wac'ems. I was shooting wasp and I really like them but I am looking for new things to try. Do they fly good and I am concernd about the small cutting diameter.

I shot them again but there was still some wind. They group very well, shot one group and ruined afletching on all three arrows. Cut one fletching off only leaving 1/4" tall piece on the shaft. The second fletching took about 1/2" of it off, the last one hooked on the end of a knock and tore it pretty bad.I usually shoot one arrow at each bullseye but I wanted to see a group. The group was from 40 yards, I needed them refletched anywayThey shoot exactly left and right with my field tips but 1" low at 40 yds, and maybe just under 2" low at 60 yds. I personally know a guy who shot a 180" class muley buck with them and he said the broadhead performed great. Blew right thru the buck and hit a huge rock. Bent a blade when it hit the rock he guessesbut the head was in good shape. His name is Kevin his picture is on the Wac Em website. The small cut is as small as many other of the latest broadheads out, it seems to come with the territory of fast bows, smaller head = easier tuneing.

RE: Wac 'Em 100gr
I have a strange question I have been getting my Wac Em heads at a local pro shop where the guy who invented them used to work. I buy them in a 4 pack for $29.00. I looked at Sportmans Warehouse they wanted $32.00 for a 3 pack on a couple of different websites they are $30 to $32 for 3. I wonder if that pro shop gets a special deal?? One free head is a heck of a deal when they are $10.00 a head.
How many are in the packs you are getting?

I just picked up another 4 pack of 100gr with tax out the door is $31.82. The 125gr are in 3 packs but I did not ask how much they were.
Mulie,
They do not have a website and I dont think they will mail order. I will ask next time I'm in there. If they dont, and you are serious about getting some, send me a PMwith your addressand I will check on what shipping would be for 1 or 2 packs.
I cant imagine shipping from Utah to Idaho could cost very much. Or if you ever get to Utah I will give you thename and address of the shop.
