Great Binos...Leupold Gold Ring
I haven't posted here in a while, but I had a buddy of mine let me use his new Leupold Gold Ring Binos and let me tell you....wow. I've looked through Steiners, Swarovski, etc. and these are the tops. Clear, crisp images from what seems like a mile off. The best low light binos I've looked through. They are new out this year and 600- 700 less than Swarovskis with a lifetime warranty, so if your looking for the best in hunting optics, you gotta try these out.....unbelievable. I've got a pair on order as we speak.

I have heard some good comments about the Golden Rings. Next time I am at the local Cabelas I am going to have to try them out...along with a few others that have recently made an appearance on the optics scene.

RE: Great Binos...Leupold Gold Ring
The Leupolds are nice no doubt about it. BUT they are not quite as clear and they gather much less light than the Swarovskis.
I have had both 10x42 s in hand of both brands in a tree stand watching deer at dusk and the Swarovski is clearly a better binocular. It shoud be for the price.
One of the most noticable differences is the field of view. The Leupod in comparison to the Swarovski seems like you are looking through a narrow tube.
For the price range, I do agree that the Leupold is a great value!
