Which Release???

Well, it's about time to get a new release. What is the best now days for a loop? There are just to many for me to try, so I thought I would come on here and use the process of elimination. Thanks for any advice.

Anything made by Scott Archery will do you good. I like the Mongoose.

I have been using a Truball Stinger for the last year after shooting several Trufire models since I switched over from fingers 9 or 10 years ago.

I just went out and bought a T.R.U ball Cyclone at the Bass Pro last week and absolutely love it.It is the nicest release I have used to date, and I really like the adjustable strap .

I have used the Tru Fire Hurricane model releases for years and really liked them.

I just bought a Tru Ball Chappy Boss because my groups shrank dramatically using one. I feel I get a smoother release with it but that is just me. I'm trying to decide if the click is too noisey for hunting though.

Whatever release you get, make sure it is for string loops. Most are today. The jaws should be closed at rest.

I second the recommendation for the Tru-fire hurricane. Its best feature is a little triangle tab on the end of the strap so it can never come loose out of the buckle.

This is one that doesnt have any velcro either.. hate the velcro sound in my quiet woods :)

I was using a Short n Sweet and it worked great but i just recently got a Scott Widcat and I am really impressed with it. I would recommend either one.
