blazers or feathers

RE: blazers or feathers
I am currently tinkering with the blazers now and they seem to perform quite well. I have yet to hear a real negative comment about them. They would get my vote initially.

I've been experimenting with the Blazers for 2 years now. I'm done experimenting , they are my choice for fletchings.
Bigbulls is right about one thing , feathers are lighter.
Feathers dont control my arrow any better , nor are they more forgiving. So for the pro's and con's list , that just leaves the weight issue -vs- the durabilty/bad weather issue. For me it was a no-brainer. I'll give up 1 - 2 fps second in favor of a fletching that I dont have to worry about in the rain or snow.

I tryed bohnings blazer vanes last year when they came out.fletched them on the new axis shafts wow very impressed all the fixed broadheads i tryed hit with field point accuracyat 30 yards. as for feathers they are forgiving but i hunt rain or shine. when it rains your feathers lay flat on the shaft have to use a hair dryer to get them to stand back up tryed all the waterprofing did not help.

I USE LEFTHAND OFFSET ABOUT 5 DEGREE'S ALSO TRYED RIGHTHAND OFFSET ACCURACY THE SAME .WAS IMPRESSED WHEN THE NAP RAZORBACK HEAD FLEW AS GOOD AS A FIELD POINT. WANTED THE CUT ON CONTACT STYLE FOR THE MOOSE HUNT I WENT ON LAST YEAR.
