What's a better brand and how good is my bow?

I was curious if someone could give a list of the different brands and how they compare to the others and maybe a quick blurb on why one is better than the other and where would my bow (see signature) compare. Thanks, Newbie

Most manufacturers make a good bow some popular ones are Hoyt,Mathews,Bowtech,Pse and a couple others. If your bow shoots good for you the only thing comparing it to other bow is going to do is probably talk you right into another bow.

Hoyt, Bowtech, and Mathews seem to be the most popular nowadays. i shoot a hoyt, but all three of these are considered top of the line.

Most if not all limbs and risers are manufactured by the same people. The big difference is the quality of components, durability and most important, the support for the products produced. A lifetime warranty isn't much good if the manufacturer goes under. Check out a few pro shops and shoot bows from assorted manufacturers. Most have a substantial assortment of models that will match your needs to a "T" The bow that feels good, shoots well for you, looks good, with a quality manufacturer to back up their product would be an excellent choice. To buy a bow just on namesake is a big mistake.

Don't get hung up on brand name. Pretty well all companies make good bows. Find one that feels good in your hand and have the draw fitted properly.
