Guy's I know a guy who just won a set of Optisan Binocular's from a draw they're the Optisan 12x42 power waterproof model .Does anyone know anything about them ? I've never heard of them myself ,but he would like to sell them cheap ,I could use a good set of Binoc's for hunting ,but I'd like to know if they're worth buying .

I consider myself fairly well versed in terms of optics both for hunting and for birdwatching. I have never heard of optisan though they might be a recently started company. Many of these small binocular firms actually have their binoculars made at the same plant with slightly different specs. They are then rebadged under a variety of names for sale. There are a variety of binocular review site links I will list but probably your best bet in terms of finding something on them is www.birdforum.net . They have an entire multi-forum section of their messageboard dedicated strictly to binoculars...by manufacturer and as a general forum. Typing that in their search engine might come up with some results. Other sites to consider.....
