Default Trigger Release or no?

You guys that fish a lot, do you use a trigger release or no? I haven't tried using one yet because I don't want to ruin mine, but other people use them and have good results maybe I'll make the change.

I can still shoot fingers with the low pound fishing bows but have to use a release for my compound bow since an accident in 1991

Thanks

I use fingers for both fishing and hunting. A release seems a bit difficult for a lot of the quick shots taken when bowfishing. But, I don't have much experience with one on the water so I could be wrong.
