Default New to bowfishing

This is going to my first year bowfishing and had some questions that I was hoping you guys could help me out with. What is a common draw weight for bowfishing? Do any of you bowfish in southern Wisconsin, specifically around Waukesha county? Are there any good places around here? Any other tips would much appreciated as well. Thanks!

The common draw weight for bowfishing isapproximately 30-33 lbs. And the best spot I know is the last bridge over the Oconomowoc River!

I prefer about a forty or so pound recurve. Recurves can be instinct shot at half draw on fish that may appear out of no where to surface next to you.

I personally prefer the draw weight should be around 30 lbs it is more easy to handle.
