Well my favorite bowfishing destination is our pond because its the only place I have been able to go.

Even though I have only shot onebluegil out of like 1000+ shots I still enjoy it.

Actually sorry I lied, I shot a DEAD bluegil. I caught it with the fishing pole and he swallowed the whole entire hook and when I tried getting it out he died. So he was floating in the pond and I had to get him out so I shot him. Took me 5 tries but I managed to do it.

My favorite would be down below KY and Barkley Lakes in the spillways. Usually lots of good sized bigheads along with gar, buffalo, grassies, paddlefish and the occasional catfish. (legal in KY)

Haven't been down there in awhile tho', and I hear it's getting a bit too crowded. The pressure seems to be limiting the bowfishing success a bit.

my favorite spot is the bay in the thumb of michigan. you can wade and shoot needlenose gar, quilback, and carp until you cannot pull your bow back any longer. simply a great day when the conditions are right..

St. Johns River in Central Florida. My clients shoot so many different types of fish that it keeps every night interesting out there. Everything from Plecos to Mudfish to Gar to Tilapia to you name it. Non - Stop action, just the way I like it!

I like silver creek (between minneapolis and St. cloud) here in the great frozen north (Minnesota). Haven't tried in Wisconsin yet.
