bowfishing through the ice?
 
hey, im up here in MN and got a itchy trigger finger. jus wondering if anybody has tried shootin carp through the ice. if you have what did you do?

im sure you could do it just cut a big enough hole to shoot through and wait for a carp to pass.

I heard of a guy up north doing it. It dumped canned sweet corn down his holes and waited. I guess he shot a lot of them that way.

The run here in WI is just startin the past week. There is a place where a creek dumps into a backwater of the river and it stays open. The water gets drawn down about this time of year and they hold in these open areas as the snow melts. Thousands were shot there last year. WCL

Now that would be pretty wild, I just hope you got a decent sized shanty so you can pull your bow back. I know ours is pretty small and wouldn't have the room, really sounds like fun.
