Cold Fronts?

Have you guys found that cold fronts have the same effect on carp as other fish? I am planning to take a younger cousin of mine bowfishing this weekend for the first time, but a cold front is expected to move through Tennessee this weekend. I'ma little nervous this might push the fish to deeper water.

Can you guys offer any advice on what to expect?

You bet it is the same. You can be out one day or night and fish everywhere go back the next day and not find a fish. Last year one of our members were shooting big head carp in the mississippi as fast as they could load and shoot.I went to the exact spot the next day and shot one fish. Have already experienced it this year on one of our local rivers. As a general rule this time of the year you will find more fish at night expecially after a sunny day when the water warms up a bit. You do remember the sun don't you? Have not seen alot of him around here this week. It is still better to get out and see nothing than sit at home and wonder.

they can be like other fish but if the water clarity is good and it usualy isnt this time of year they are still there just deeper. that is all that all fish do in a cold front is move deeper. just what i have seen....
