RE: Bow Fishing Rest
Mike, I shoot off the shelf on my recurve. If your bow needs a rest, there are several good options. Some of our best tournament shooters use the whisker biscuit. HNI Christine used the roller rest and had some problems with the arrow falling off drawing on fish. (especially when swinging at the same time)
AMS makes a rest called the wave rest. I haven't used one but AMS makes good quality products. Muzzy makes a simple rugged rest called the fish hook. Some like making a rest out of epoxy (JB Weld etc.)Itis most like shooting off the shelf IMO. a few more options... F&D dream rest, tri loop... I know this doesn't help narrow your search much...:eek: |
RE: Bow Fishing Rest
I shoot off theshelf with recurves and have shot WB on compounds, didnt like them, but do like my rollers that i have on the wheel bows now.

RE: Bow Fishing Rest
I use the Fish Hook. Can't beat it for price and quality. Great for keeping the arrow from moving when drawing and swinging at the same time. For super fast shooting you need something to keep that arrow from fallingoff.
