catfish yes, but i dont know if strippers are legal to shoot in texas.

neither are legal fish to spear here in Indiana since the state classifies them as sportfish. Would be fun sticking a 20lb+ striper though.

Can't shoot them in IL either, but we seecats in the same waters as our carp. Wouldn't be hard to pick off some. There are just less of them to shoot at.
