Howdy there.
I don't bowfish in Ohio myself, but NWOCHUCK and DEPERADO are from your state and theyshould know the rules.

Desperado is starting up an Ohio bowfishing club if you are interested in finding some shooting buddies.

There is no season for bowfishing. You can shoot year round with a valid fishing lic. is all.

Where are you located at?

I grew up in Canton. A lot of common carp in all the streams and rivers around there. I don't use sights and don't know of anyone who does. We shoot instinctive, which actually takes a little practice until you learn where/how to aim using the arrow gap and such.
