fishing report for kaskaskia
 
the fish are starting to come up they have been for the past few weeks now, went out last weekend and shot 6 commns and 3 gar in 30 minutes so its still kinda slow. alot of boats on the main channels and no sighs of big heads yet but i havent really had time to find them. going out friday afternoon to find them boys hopefully this cold dont put back deep. i also talk to a few boys on the river that was bowfishing off the banks and they said they shot a bighead earlier that day and that was the only one they have seen so hopfully we get into them friday if so ill get on here asap to tell all....and hopefully some pics.

Mike, Keep us posted. We have been wondering what is happening down your way. According to Robo the water has to be in the high 50's to get the big heads going. In the 60's is better. This cold snap will not help for sure.

That's actually pretty good for this early if it were in Northern IL. :D

Yeah Bulz the tail waters at Carlyle would be perfect for the bobber.
