any old bow you won't mind getting muddy, bloody, wet or slimy. And 50# or lighter. And long enough to comfortably shoot with fingers.

Good advice.

Also, at least 30# draw, and prefer bows with accessory mounting holes for sights and stabilizers because that is how you attach your reel, unless you will be using a hand wound spool that gets taped to the bow.

i try to find bows at yard sales/pawn shops but then i take them immediatly to a buddy ata archery shop to check them out i have never spent over $25.00 for a bow

Are you left handed or right handed if your left i have an old ben pearson that works real good on everything from carp to bigheads..........cheap.
