Aerial Bowfishing
 
I recently saw a dvd of these guys shooting silver carp inthe air. They would gun the boat motor and these carp were jumping everywhere including in the boat and they would shoot them in the air looks like a great time does anyone know where they do this because i wanna go try it

Those Asian Silver Carp are quite plentiful on the Illinois River and they do like to take to the air whenthe vibration of theoutboard sets them off. There is one videothat was filmed below the Peoria, ILdamif that helps.

I'm sure not an expert here but I don't think there is a lot of seasonality to them. They're there all the time but maybe less active when the water gets too cold. I know we see them all summer long and into the early fall.

Yep, anytime it is hot outside and anywhere on the MS, MO, or IL rivers will do it.
