OUCH and more ouch

well its been awhile since Ive been able to get on b/c something was wrong with my account but now that im back I can tell yall to never buy I Bear Whitetail bow unless you want fiberglass splinters in your face and hands.

The other week when I was showing my set up to a friend I drew the bow back not past where there supposed tojust a regular everyday drawand the freaking limbs just snapped and popped me in the face and to add insult to injury the shards got stuck all in my hands and when I called to complain they said they couldnt do anything because the warranty was out of date.sobeware people!

I don't like to knock manufactures and blame them for everything. I had a Browning do the same thing to me, but then I believe it had been dry fired before... Unless you know the complete history of the bow, I wouldn't knock the company... Bows blow all the time.. including the Mathews, Bowtech and Hoyt.. it's a risk we all take. I shoot Bowtech pro 40 DuallyIBO speed almost 350, believe me, it gets spooky thinking what could happen if a bow that powerful were to blow..... At least your still here with us, it could have worse.. Glad your okay. Welcome back.

Welcome back. That is an experience that will haunt you every time you draw a bow. Hope your doc got all the pieces out.

You didn't happen to have it stored in your attic for a few years, did ya? Just curious. Both me and my buddie had Whitetail II's when we first started bowhunting. Never had a problem with them, although the cams on my did warp after a while. They were plastic...

Glad your okay. That would have been real easy to lose an eye.

My old Whitetail II is solid metal and weighs a ton, which is why I switched to recurves.
