That style of head has been around for a while now, and in my experience, itwas a pain in the booty when you go to pull your arrow back thru a large fish and that darn collar keeps sliding down re-releasing the barbs within the fish. Not to mention that if you don't make it all the way thru the fish, you are required to push your arrow by hand thru the fish so you can attempt to lock down the collar (noeasy twisting the arrow to remove it). I think there's a good reason why it didn't catch on the first time around but hey, you might feel it's the cat's meow and love it. Buy a few, try them out and get back with us.

It certainly looks vicious enough try it out and let me know how you like it. Iam quite partial to my penetrator points but always looking for new and better ideas....

I haven't seen a shaft like that before, but I did get that Garpoon head.
Unfortunately, it now resides at the bottom of the Hennepin Canal around Lock 24, and has never tasted fish guts.
