These days will finish it completely and show better quality photos. A front that showed a knife with a handle of buffalo horn and very small mosaic pins became unique, even I do not sell, but I'll wait awhile and if no one asked'll leave it to me.

Spartan, do you ever do knife handles out of дрян? I don't know how to say it in English.

I have a Thracian gaida and was told by the master who gave me lessons that дрян is one of the most durable materials available. Do you think it's aesthetically pleasing for a knife handle, as well?

Yes cornel is a very hard wood. A friend before trying to make knife handles of dogwood but said that 95 percent of them burst or izmetnali. And I have not seen dogwood with some good patterns. As hardness boxwood is stronger, more rare because it grows very slowly, and too many of treason handle fultang must be with beaded handle. I would recommend you acacia. very strong wood and buds are very good pattern. There are many interesting materials for the handle of a knife with a decent price, it all depends on what you're looking for. These are three trees: alder Rotten, rotten wood and acacia. As I write this rotten wood does not have to worry, it's very well stabilized with resin under vacuum, and so it is harder thing as Micarta.

A ready, and went to France these days. The owner wished him to do roe deer on the sheath, I hope I make it right.

A new project. The steel blade is straight camp SHH15, Zone tempered and will not polish to a shine to it shows that it is wrought. The handle is entirely of horse materials, bone and darkness of the hoof. I will show it and ready but now so.

One of today. Steel blade AEB-L, cryogenically hardened to RC 60-61. The handle is stabilized rotten wood. Leaving only to brighten and to do sheath. Sheath as well as all my knives will be made when someone says that it wants to be able to choose what to be or what it wants to do it.
