Another mod

russell green river buffalo skinner. 1/8 inch thick 1095 steel nessmuk for the cost of $20 and 10-15 minutes of work. Not for sale just discussing a quality product for folks not looking to spend a lot of money.

For the record since my last post like this was moved to classifieds. I'm not selling this. Just showing it.

So why list the price?

As you have it typed it clearly appears as an advertisement.
Now if you wrote
Quote "russell green river buffalo skinner. 1/8 inch thick 1095 steel nessmuk made or cost me xamount to make for $20 and 10-15 minutes of work.

It would fit within the HNI rules you agreed to abide by when becoming a member.
The other post was moved as it was viewed as an advertisement which is illegal in the topic forums.

Fix this post and we are good. Even go re-write the other and let me know I and I will move it back. It is nice work but listing the 'cost' to make the knife appears as an offer to sell.

Thanks
JW

I guess I didn't even think about people seeing it that way.

I list the price because it is relevant to a discussion about good knives that don't cost much money.

Why not have at least some communication with someone you think is breaking the rules before taking action?

I went back and wrote that the knives are not for sale in the first sentence of the other thread. I hope that clears things up.
